Shad has a love and passion for planning and problem solving. He has used these skills in the financial services industry since 2001. Shad has built his practice by providing financial education, professional advice, and seeking world-class service to his clients. He has positioned the firm and practice to be independent and serve as a fiduciary for his clients. His focus has been helping those who are preparing and transitioning into retirement and financial independence. He addresses retirement planning, retirement income strategies, tax savings strategies, wealth management, investment planning, and estate planning. While many important aspects of financial planning are addressed, Shad believe strongly in providing financial confidence and a plan simple to understand and execute.
Shad also serves on the board of directors for the Jordan Education Foundation which serves the Jordan School District in Utah. Shad celebrates 25 years of marriage to his sweetheart, Amy Waddoups of Sandy, Utah. They have 4 children and one new son-in-law. Shad enjoys the outdoors. He loves to hike, mountain bike, and ski. You’ll also find him on the golf course and pickleball court as often as time permits!
